He’s a liar. It’s his profession. New Trailer for Limited Series ‘Ripley’
Premiering April 4th. Inspired by Patricia Highsmith’s famous novels, the story follows Ripley, hired by a rich man to bring his son back from Italy. What seems like a simple task spirals into a world of lies, cheating, and even murder.
This isn’t the first adaptation of Highsmith’s work. The 1999 movie “The Talented Mr. Ripley” featured Matt Damon as Ripley. In this Netflix series, Dakota Fanning and Johnny Flynn portray Marge Sherwood and Dickie Greenleaf, respectively. The cast also includes familiar names like John Malkovich.
Award-winning screenwriter Steven Zaillian wrote and directed all eight episodes, serving as an executive producer alongside Andrew Scott and others.
