Apple has unveiled the highly anticipated trailer for the second season of Silo, providing a glimpse into the fate of protagonist Juliette following the shocking cliffhanger that concluded the first season. The new season is set to premiere on November 15th on Apple TV+.
Based on Hugh Howey’s acclaimed series of books, Silo explores the lives of a community of 10,000 individuals living in a massive underground silo, designed to shield them from the perilous conditions outside. No one knows when or why the silo was built and those who try to find out face fatal consequences. Ferguson stars as Juliette, an engineer who seeks answers about a loved one’s murder and tumbles onto a mystery that goes far deeper than she could have ever imagined, leading her to discover that if the lies don’t kill you, the truth will. As the story unfolds, viewers are drawn into the mysteries and challenges faced by the inhabitants, making it a gripping watch for science fiction fans.
In addition to Ferguson, Silo season two stars new addition Steve Zahn, alongside returning stars Tim Robbins, Common, Harriet Walter, Chinaza Uche, Avi Nash, Alexandria Riley, Shane McRae, Remmie Milner, Clare Perkins, Billy Postlethwaite, Rick Gomez, Caitlin Zoz, Tanya Moodie and Iain Glen.
Season 2 will consist of 10 episodes, with a new installment released each week. The season finale is slated for January 17, 2025, a date that coincidentally marks the premiere of the second season of Severance, another highly anticipated Apple TV+ series.
