Diego Luna Highlights Behind-the-Scenes Magic of ‘Andor’ Season 2
Disney+ has unveiled a captivating behind-the-scenes glimpse into the making of “Andor” Season 2, featuring insights from Diego Luna, Adria Arjona, and showrunner Tony Gilroy.
This sneak peek showcases the show’s meticulous production design, including intricate costumes and expansive sets that enhance the political drama integral to the acclaimed Star Wars series.
As a prequel to “Rogue One,” “Andor” tells the story of the years leading up to Cassian Andor’s evolution into an emblem of rebellion. Season 2 propels the narrative further, amplifying character relationships while the conflict between the rebels and the Empire escalates.
The footage also teases the return of fan-favorite K-2SO, voiced by Alan Tudyk, along with Ben Mendelsohn reprising his role as the cunning Director Orson Krennic.
Tony Gilroy shares his vision for the upcoming season, asserting, “These twelve episodes will span the next four years leading into ‘Rogue One.’ The complexity and potential of the show must be fully realized.”
The final season consists of 12 episodes, divided into four parts, each with three episodes for viewers to enjoy.
“Andor” Season 2 features a stellar cast, including Diego Luna, Stellan Skarsgård, Genevieve O’Reilly, Denise Gough, Kyle Soller, Adria Arjona, Faye Marsay, Varada Sethu, Elizabeth Dulau, alongside Alan Tudyk, Ben Mendelsohn, and Forest Whitaker. Created by Tony Gilroy, the series represents a collaborative effort with Kathleen Kennedy as executive producer.
