Xenomorphs Arrive in Ominous Teaser for “Alien: Earth”

Destination: Earth. Impact: Imminent. Alien: Earth, an all-new original series, premieres this Summer on Hulu and with Hulu On Disney+.

As we gear up for an exciting slate of sci-fi TV shows in 2025, the buzz is growing for Alien: Earth, the iconic franchise’s first-ever foray into television. Slated for release this summer, the show has kept its details under wraps, but the latest teaser trailer offers a chilling glimpse of what’s to come.

Following the reveal of a striking new poster (seen below), FX and Hulu dropped an ominous teaser for the original series, helmed by Noah Hawley (Fargo, Legion). While it offers a bit more than the brief snippets shown in Disney Plus’ 2025 lineup promo last year, the teaser still holds back, leaving much to the imagination.

The immersive trailer gives us the perspective of an alien navigating the ceiling of a spaceship before revealing the ship’s dire fate—it’s plummeting out of orbit toward Earth. The chaotic, disorienting visuals feel like being trapped inside a tumbling dryer, creating an atmosphere that’s equal parts thrilling and unsettling.

As rumors suggest, Alien: Earth will explore what happens when Xenomorphs crash-land on Earth, predating the timeline of the original movie. But questions remain: who will be the unlucky survivors to face these terrifying creatures, and how will they fight back? Answers should be on the horizon, as more details emerge closer to the release.

Cast and Streaming Details

The show boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Sydney Chandler (Don’t Worry Darling), Alex Lawther (Star Wars: Andor), Essie Davis (The Babadook), Timothy Olyphant (The Mandalorian), Samuel Blenkin (Black Mirror), Adarsh Gourav (Guns & Gulaabs), Erana James (The Wilds), David Rysdahl (No Exit), and Kit Young (Shadow and Bone), among others.

Alien: Earth will stream on Hulu in the US and Disney+ in the UK. Prepare for a gripping, otherworldly journey this summer.
